There are a variety of programs available to reduce your housing costs. The MA Circuit Breaker provides some financial relief for renters and homeowners based on program guidelines. Programs such as the Senior Work Off abatement program and Low Income Heating Assistance Program (LIHEAP), can further reduce your expenses. Not every community offers the Senior Work Off abatement program, but Councils on Aging are valuable community resources that may be able to provide assistance in participating in these cost saving programs.
