40 hours per week, year-round. Evening and weekend hours as programs require. FLSA-Exempt.
Salary Range: Starts at $69,575.00 plus $3,000 SIGN ON BONUS
The Town of Truro is seeking a Deputy Community Services Director: Council on Aging to manage and oversee the people, programs and operations of the COA. Responsible for administrative and supervisory work related to the Town’s programs for seniors and vulnerable populations and other organizations within the Town. Under the guidance of the Community Services Director, assists in the design, supervision and implementation of programs for the Town. $3,000 SIGN ON BONUS, plus competitive benefits. Bachelor’s degree in social work, gerontology, public management, or related field; two years of experience working with senior citizens in a social service, health or related position; municipal experience or experience delivering services in a public setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Course work in gerontology strongly preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and program coordination skills required.
